Calvin Ross Sather, age 59, of Medicine Hat, Alberta passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Calvin’s number one love was his children and grandchildren. He always boasted about them to anyone who would listen. His second love was his truck he called “Bumble Bee”. If you see a yellow and black truck with a trunk cover coming down the road you knew that was Calvin. Calvin worked at Costco in Medicine Hat, since before the doors opened, and he made a lot of new friends there that he called his second family. He also called Costco his second home and met a lot of new friends interacting with the customers there.
Calvin touched a lot of people’s lives and will be greatly missed.
Left to mourn are his children, Brittany, Brandy (Jer), Charlie-Rae, and Bret; his two grandchildren, Calibur and Levi; his friend even after separating, Sheryle Sather; his brother, Elton; his sisters, Myrna (Richard), Donna (Willie), Darla (Hamid), Judy (Conrad); his parents-in-law, Lillian and Vern Laferriere, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; Patrick and Victoria Sather; his brothers, Conrad and Terry Sather.
Calvin will be missed by all who loved him.
Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTRE on Sunday, August 4, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
