1952 – Bruce Krutzler – 2022
Bruce Calvin Krutzler of Medicine Hat, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at the age of 69 years, beloved husband of the late Bernadette “Bernie” Krutzler. He leaves to cherish his memory two children, Denine (John) Welsh of Chestermere and Ryan Krutzler of Medicine Hat; three grandchildren, Liam and Caiden Welsh and Kiarra Krutzler; two brothers, Kelly Krutzler (Colleen Bates) of Red Deer; Perry (Joanne) Krutzler and one sister Yvonne Krutzler all of Medicine Hat. He was predeceased by his wife Bernie on October 31, 2019 and by his parents Ida and Leo Krutzler. Bruce was born on August 4, 1952 in Medicine Hat where he was raised and educated. In 1970, he graduated from Medicine Hat High School and married his highschool sweetheart Bernadette Ries on September 1, 1973. In 1972, he began his career with C.P. Rail as a Brakeman and in 2005, retired as a Conductor. Bruce also worked with his father at J&K Traders as well as farming near Tompkins, Saskatchewan. Those who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Masks are mandatory, Due to the restrictions brought forward by the Chief Medical Officer of Health, indoor public gatherings are to be kept to 50 people therefore a private family service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant Pat Grisonich. Family and friends who are unable to attend are invited to watch the service by searching for the Pattison Funeral Home Youtube page. The video will go live 10 minutes prior to service time and will remain on the youtube page for future viewing. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery.
