Brian Webster is a retired member of the Medicine Hat Fire Department.

Webster has also been active in the community with several organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Medicine Hat Rotary Club, Medicine Hat Police Auxiliary and as minor league soccer coach.

He believes the City has a spending problem and it is time to make tough decisions on reducing spending.

Webster has concerns about the closure of recreational facilities and the impact this will have on attracting families to Medicine Hat.
