CLARKWATCH: Follow news and updates regarding sanctions on Mayor Clark.

Bill Bergeson

Bill Bergeson has lived in Medicine Hat almost all of his life, raising a family and working on the city’s power generation, gas distribution, and water treatment with various companies contracted by the city
He says public-owned utilities, low cost of living, affordable rent, low utility costs, reasonable taxes, safety, friendliness, and beautiful views are what attracts people to Medicine Hat and that the city’s current advantages are slowly fading away.
Bergeson says he’s against selling the city’s power generation company.
He also wants to keep pools and recreational centers viable for the benefit of everyone throughout the city.
Bergeson says he would be transparent about why he makes the decisions he does and would seek input beforehand.
