Barbara Gladys Stuart (Penna), a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025, in Medicine Hat, AB at the age of 98 years. Born in Saltash, Cornwall, England on November 28, 1926, she was a woman known for her gentleness, kindness, strength and dedication to family. Barbara loved music, particularly playing the piano and singing in the church choirs. She loved animals, small and large and particularly enjoyed her time around horses. Barbara is survived by her children: June Stuart, Pamela Stuart, Deborah (Stuart) Palalia, Lynne (Stuart) Lloyd; grandchildren: Martin Palalia (Tasha), Suzanne (Shane) Taylor (nee Palalia), Lisa (Tommy) Tingle (nee Lloyd) and Jeff Lloyd; great-grandchildren; Noah Taylor, Skye Taylor, Leland Palalia, Wyatt Palalia, Thomas Tingle and Lyla Thomas Tingle and Lyla Tingle; brother, Jeff Penna as well as by several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews in England.
