Archie Lambert
1929 – 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Archie Lambert after a year long battle with leukaemia.
Devoted husband to Bernadette; loving father to Vince (Christopher), Quentin (Shelly), Lena (Jamie); and proud doting grandfather to Alison, Matthew, Ethan and Jordan .
Archie was born in Ponteix, SK, having grown up with his 8 siblings on the family farm near Cadillac, SK. His mother passed away much too young which he carried with him his entire life. He was raised by a gentle, loving father and he too became a gentle and loving father.
Archie was adventurous with countless stories and “firsts” to his name. Traveling to France over 20 times, being one of the first people to bring Charolais cattle to North America. He was very proud to be a pilot, having earned his night endorsement certificate. He was a modest man and not boastful about his endless accomplishments.
Archie took great pride in the relationships he built through his involvement in numerous associations and groups, where he had the honor of meeting many influential figures in Canadian history. His dedication to community and connection left a lasting legacy.
We are respecting Archie’s strong wishes and there will be no funeral service.
A graveside service will be held in Ponteix, SK in summer of 2025 where he will join his parents and other family members at the Lambert site.
