Allan Grimm
June 22, 1958 ~ August 14, 2026
Allan faced his brief illness with courage, kindness for family and dignity. Those he leaves behind will remember him with love, laughter and tears. Allan will forever live in the hearts of his loving wife, Karin; children, Dustin, Dayna and Chantelle; grandchildren, Ethen, Jade, Adelina and Robert; brothers, Brent (Sherry) and Blaine (Karen); nieces, Amanda (Adam and Levi), Mikayla (Trevor); nephews, Colin, Kyle and Ross; mother-in-law, Berta Kulpe; brother-in-law, Gerald Kulpe (Hannelore and Kristopher) as well as his aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Ken; mother, Alice; uncles, Robert, Bill, Kenny, Ed, Bert and Carl; aunts, Jean and Bea; cousins, Travis and Mike. Allan was caring, loving, had a big heart and was always ready to help anyone who needed him. Whether he helped with brainstorming, a mechanical or construction problem, or better yet, fixing the problem. He showed us his love by doing, fixing and helping in any way he could. The boat gave the family many hours of enjoyment with Allan at the wheel. He had no mercy when he pulled his kids, friends or wife behind that boat on the tube. It really made him laugh to watch everyone fly. As well as spending time with family, Allan loved going fishing at the local lakes. He took trips to Manitoba to fish bigger lakes as well as Sturgeon fishing on the Frazier River with his brothers, friends and cousin. Still, no fish tasted better than the local “Walleye catch of the day” which he loved watching us enjoy at dinner time. Racing his cars, working on his cars and volunteering on the safety crew at the Medicine Hat Dragstrip, which he often did with his son, filled him up with the many friendships he made as well as the feeling of helping drivers from their cars when they ran into problems. Hunting and sausage went hand in hand each fall. It didn’t matter who got drawn, (Elk and Moose preferably) as long as there was enough meat for a few batches of fresh sausage. We will miss him, his love for us, his laugh and his smile.
“Rest easy now Allan. We will carry you with us every day.”
