Alice was born on September 26, 1927 in Schuler, Alberta where she was raised and attended school. She met Edwin through a school project where during the war, students wrote to soldiers. On November 17, 1946, they were married in Schuler, farming near there until retiring in 1982, at which time they moved to Medicine Hat. Alice enjoyed travelling and even wrote a book. I-Alice was about her early life and her family’s migration from Russia. She also loved handicrafts, sewing, knitting and painting just to name a few. Her family would like to thank everyone from the cleaning staff to the nurses at Southlands Masterpiece for their wonderful care of our mother over the years.
