With heavy hearts and deep love, the family of Adriana “Jane” Vonk announce her peaceful passing on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital, at the age of 86 years.

She was the beloved wife of the late Leendert Vonk. Adriana will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sylvia Vonk Wenzel (Stewart Schriber), Ron Vonk (Joy), and Randy Vonk (Michelle); her grandchildren, Sonja Frizzley (Kyle), Camara Wenzel (Sheldon Schafer), Darren Vonk (Mindy Lamoureux), and Kimberly Lusok (Jonathan), Tony Vonk, Coral Vonk, Steven Vonk, Carrie Vonk, Jade Vonk, Judah Vonk; as well as her many cherished great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren. Adriana’s quick wit, wonderful sense of humor, and generous spirit touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel. A private family interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery.

A Celebration of Adriana’s life will be held at Living Hope Church, 300 Primrose Drive S.E., Medicine Hat, on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Kevin VanderVeen officiating. Refreshments will follow.
