Adolph Reinholt Beierbach, beloved husband of June, passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at the age of 85 years. Along with June, Adolph leaves to cherish his memory: children, Sheldon and Cheyenne (Rob); grandsons, Collin (Michelle), Dustin and Landon; granddaughter, Jessie (Rick); great-grandchildren, Walker, Emma, Hakon, Fancy, Michaela, John, Raymond and Lilac; step-great-grandchildren, MacKenzii, Triistan, Naomi, Anastasia, Alexander and Jordan; step-great-great-grandson, Lane; sister, Ruth Johnson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Adolph was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Anna; brothers, Alfred and Johnny; sister, Agnus and an infant son. Adolph was born and raised on the family farm in the Ranchville area and spent 80 years working the land continuing 5 generations on the Beierbach farm. Adolph spent many of his years being the community welder and mechanic to the Manyberries area as well as supporting community association functions and dances. As a hobby, Adolph repaired equipment and enjoyed tinkering on numerous projects that were all to be used on the farm. Anything he built or rebuilt was to improve the productivity of the farm as he spent a lot of hard work making improvements he felt were needed. Adolph married June Wold on October 10, 1958, and lived on the family farm raising their children. They resided there for 56 years until their retirement, moving to Medicine Hat in 2015. Adolph was very family orientated and was always there for his children and grandchildren. In his younger years, Adolph was often seen holding his grandsons with a smile on his face. He was an avid dancer; especially square dancing and will be remembered for his passion for genealogy and history. A Celebration of Adolph’s Life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at 1:00 p.m with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating.
