My96 raising money for Health Foundation

MEDICINE HAT, AB — My96 FM is out in the community on Thursday, helping raise funds for the Medicine Hat and District Health Foundation.

The annual MyKids Cares Day radiothon got underway Thursday morning, with the station broadcasting live at the Dunmore Road McDonald’s. The station will be on location until 9 p.m.

During the day, McDonald’s will be donating 50 cents from every coffee sold, 50 cents from every Happy Meal sold and $1 from selected sandwiches, with all proceeds going to the Medicine Hat & District Health Foundation.

This year, the focus of the funds is towards children’s mental health initiatives.
