Window tint isn’t illegal for officer safety (although at least I’d buy that excuse). Window tint is illegal because it stops the tempered glass on your side windows from shattering properly. When was the last news report you read of someone getting injured because of this? It’s a stupid, unnecessary law that should be repealed. We have legal pot but can’t put tint on our windows. Yikes.

The selective enforcement is my biggest issue with it. You can go years without anyone saying a word, then suddenly it’s public enemy #1 and they go on a blitz. Hard to say that’s anything but a cash grab, but I guess we should be used to that.

People need to stop treating the world like their damn ashtray. Why do they feel like throwing their cig out the window is okay? I just can’t comprehend how these people don’t feel like absolute cows behaving like that? Littering is never okay.

I’m pleased that there is at least one person has swallowed the drivel spouted about window tint film. Do you really believe it is to stop ‘an officer being shot in the face’? Clearly, that must be worse than being shot anywhere else. Having received a few window tint tickets, never once was that offered as a reason. They usually rant on about eye contact and other irrelevant road safety suggestions. I’d suggest they ticket tint because it’s the only thing our illustrious law enforcers can easily see. Why chase really unsafe failings that pass when a simple tint is so obvious.

Happy that the cows are back in the field across from work.

All the young kids on their bicycles not wearing helmets or any sort of protection! Where is bylaw or MHPS? They handed out tickets or warnings to young kids years ago when they were seen riding without a helmet.

How cheap some people in this city can be. Trying to sell things online at an already incredible deal only to be low-balled by 50%. People really suck.
