Rattlers golfers miss final round cut at Canadian University & College Championship

KOMOKA, ON – An early exit from the Medicine Hat College Rattlers women’s golf team, missing the cut on the national stage this week.

Competing as the ACAC’s representative at the 2019 Canadian University & College Championship, the Rattlers women’s squad missed the cut for Friday’s final round after shooting a combined 282 over par.

Posting a score of 312 on Thursday, the Rattlers team ended its tournament in 12th place.

Individually, all three Rattlers golfers missed the cut with Nicole Schultz finishing as the top local at 53 over par to end her week in 43rd place.

Just one shot behind Schultz was fellow Rattler Sierra Zukowski, who put up a 91 on Thursday to wind up tied for 44th.

Rounding out the local contingent was Ciara Bonogofski, also missing the final round cut at 177 shots over par and concluding her week with a 50th place showing.

Rattlers golfers will join back up for competition in the fall to get the 2019 ACAC season underway.
