Happy with the beautiful weather! It’s so wonderful to get outside and work in the gardens and go for a walk.

Can’t believe people in the Hat willingly pay a quack “medical professional” known as a holistic care thousands of dollars for health diagnosing.  It is disgusting, really.  How does the city even allow those predators to have a business licence?

How about a Dollar store in the former Crescent Heights Safeway building? Like the one by Sobeys on the south side would be VERY beneficial to all the residents on the north side. Come on people, make it happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just for all the eating establishments that feel it is their right to add on a mandatory tip, we are all hearing about this. It’s all we need to hear to never put our feet into your restaurant. It is our right as a customer to tip as we feel it is deserved. So, butt out.

First motorcycle ride of the season. What great evenings we are having. Beautiful sunset over the city and warm spring air makes me a Happy Hatter.

So supposedly fireworks have been banned in the city for years!! Could have fooled me!!!! I live in Crescent Heights and our neighbours that back onto the trail system have lit off fireworks on various occasions for years. Dry prairie conditions? No big deal. Wind blowing? No big deal. A few years ago, there were fireworks going off all over the city, down in Riverside, Crescent Heights, etc. All private homes. What good is a bylaw going to do? They don’t enforce anything anyway.

Upset that we didn’t get any information regarding the preliminary trial that was meant to be held on Monday and Tuesday for an individual accused of extortion and murder.

I still see potholes in the city! Waiting till October again? When are some roads in Crescent Heights getting paved? Division Ave is in desperate need of a pave! City budget must be low in road repair!

Mad that I must worry about my wife as she leaves her work downtown to walk to her car. The street people and junkies are continuously bothering people and making them feel unsafe with their erratic, dangerous and often disgusting behaviour. And we wonder why we can’t get the Downtown core busier with new business?

Infuriated with the person that only got $250 fine/15 years of not owning another pet for locking/taping her cat/dog in plastic tubs in her storage bin left to die. Yet you can steal money & get a bigger fine! Come on now, this is 2 innocent lives. Justice system needs to smarten up. If this was your family member would you have been so kind?
