Brooks RCMP officer injured following vehicle rollover

BROOKS, AB – A member of the Brooks RCMP was airlifted by HALO to hospital following a single vehicle rollover Friday evening.

According to a release from the RCMP and Canada Police Report, the rollover happened at approximately 5:20 p.m. on Range Road 103 in a rural area northeast of Brooks.

The officer was responding to a call for service and was the only person in the vehicle at the time. Police and EMS responded to the scene, and HALO was called in to transport the officer to a local hospital.

The officer suffered non life threatening injuries.

The collision is under investigation and the cause has not yet been determined.
