Vikings dominate on baseball diamond

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Crescent Heights High School Vikings crushed the Foremost Falcons on the baseball diamond Wednesday night.

The Vikings downed the Falcons 16-1 in a mercy-ruled three innings at Jeffries Park, according to GameChanger.

Terek Hieb and Cale Ferguson each batted in three runs for the Vikings, while Dylan Fauth had two RBIs.

Ferguson was also the winning pitcher for the Vikings, allowing one run, two hits and striking out nine batters.

Anderson Kurtzweg scored the Falcons lone run following a wild pitch, according to Game Changer.

Mohawks victorious

Both the Tier 1 and Tier 2 Medicine Hat High School Mohawks were victorious on the baseball diamond.

The Tier 1 Mohawks were victorious 11-3 over Brooks. Stats from the game were not immediately available, but according to an email from head coach Lyall Foran, Ashtyn Street was the winning pitcher.

The Tier 2 Mohawks downed the Erle Rivers Comets 7-1 at McCoy Field.

Jeff Bullock had two runs, two hits and one RBI for the Mohawks, while Nick Marshall and Dylan Lefler each had two hits during the game.

Payton Eddy was the winning pitcher. He pitched six innings and struck out 14 batters during the game.
