MEDICINE HAT, AB - It was yet another successful year for the Medicine Hat Firefighters, as their annual calendar raised $44,542.

The money raised from this years calendar will go to support the Alberta Children's Hospital and the Firefighters Burn Fund, which contributes to local families and charities in Medicine Hat.

Today, firefighters were at Costco presenting a cheque to the Alberta Children's Hospital for $17,819. Half of that amount will be matched by Costco, bringing the total to $26,728.

Local firefighters are sending their thanks to the residents of Medicine Hat for their continued support.

In November of 2018, Trustee with the Medicine Hat Firefighters Association, Curtis Noble, said the previous calendar raised close to $40,000.
