Early-bird ticket packages available for World U-17 Hockey Challenge

MEDICINE HAT, AB and SWIFT CURRENT, SK. — Early-bird tickets for the World U-17 Hockey Challenge are officially on sale.

The tournament, which features some of the top hockey talent from Canada, the United States and Europe, runs November 2-9 in Medicine Hat and Swift Current Saskatchewan.

For the games in Medicine Hat, the early bird tournament packages include tickets to 12 games at the Canalta Centre (one exhibition, six preliminary, two quarter-finals, one semifinal, the bronze medal game and the gold medal game) and cost $180 for adults and $110 for youth (aged 3-17).

The Swift Current package includes 12 games to be played at the Innovation Credit Union i-Plex (one exhibition, six Preliminary, two quarter-finals, two placements and one semifinal game), and costs $150 for adults and $90 for youth.

Tickets had previously been available for season ticket holders with the Medicine Hat Tigers and Swift Current Broncos, as well as minor hockey clubs in both regions.

The early bird price will be in place until June 18. After that date, ticket prices will increase to full price.

Single game tickets, family packages and regular ticket packages will be on sale June 19.
