CASTLEGAR, B.C. – A rare Saturday double-header for the Medicine Hat Junior ‘B’ Sun Devils ended with a split of two games out west in British Columbia.

Facing West Kootenay in the early game in Castlegar, the Sun Devils were able to get back into the win column with a 7-3 victory over the previously undefeated Timberwolves.

A quick turnaround for their second game of the day cost Medicine Hat however, as they were trounced 14-3 by the Sylvan Lake Yetti.

Complete stats for both games were unavailable at the time of publishing.

Medicine Hat’s slow start out of the gate has them sitting in third place in the RMLL’s South Central Division with a 2-4 record.

The Sun Devils are off the Victoria Day long weekend and will return home to the Moose Recreation Centre on May 25 to do battle with the Calgary Sabrecats.
