MEDICINE HAT, AB — It may have been a chilly evening on the baseball diamond, but there was lots of heat from the bats of the Medicine Hat High School Mohawks.

The junior varsity team dominated the Foremost Falcons 23-7 during a road game. However, with the mercy rule in effect after the fourth inning, the Mohawks will be crediting with a 20-1 victory.

The junior varsity squad improves their record for league play to 2-2.

As for the senior varsity Mohawks, they return to action at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, heading to the McCoy Baseball Diamond to battle the Monsignor McCoy High School Colts. The first pitch is at 5:30 p.m.

The game is the first for the Mohawks since they returned from San Diego earlier in April.
