RED DEER, AB – It’s shaping up to be a potentially life-changing week for SEAC Bantam AAA Tigers forward Tyler Broesky, who is returning from Red Deer with some hardware.

Broesky netted two assists for Team Alberta Green on Sunday afternoon, helping his squad to a bronze medal finish at the 2019 Alberta Cup tournament with a 10-2 stomping of Alberta Yellow.

Up 3-0 in the second period, Broesky found Bowden Singleton to make it a four-goal game just 28 seconds into the middle stanza.

That was followed up by his second assist of the afternoon, coming in the final minute of the second period off a goal from Ryan Nolan to make it a 7-1 score.

Leaving Red Deer with a bronze medal, Broesky made quite the impression at the annual bantam showcase with a goal and six points in five games, sitting tied for fifth in tournament scoring.

Broesky led all SEAC Bantam AAA Tigers in scoring this past season, netting 20 goals and 36 points in 27 games.

Next up for Broesky will be the WHL Bantam Draft, where he hopes to hear his name called by a WHL club on Thursday.

The Alberta Cup championship final is being played later Sunday between Team Alberta Red and Team Alberta Black.
