Brooks man killed following vehicle rollover near Tilley

TILLEY, AB — A 55-year-old Brooks man has died following a single vehicle collision near Tilley on Tuesday.

According to Brooks RCMP, officers responded to a single vehicle rollover on the westbound Trans-Canada Highway near Range Road 124.

EMS and the Tilley Fire Department also responded to the collision.

According to a release from RCMP, a Honda Civic travelling west on the Trans-Canada Highway left the road and rolled several times, eventually coming to rest in a field north of the highway.

RCMP say the driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. He was the only person in the vehicle.

RCMP say alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be factors in the collision.
