Canada’s Andre De Grasse second in 200 metres at Grenada Invitational
ST. GEORGE, Grenada — Andre De Grasse is back on track — literally and figuratively.
The 24-year-old Markham, Ont., native was second in the 200-metre event at the Grenada Invitational track event on Saturday, his first individual competition since the Canadian championships last summer.
De Grasse finished in 20.20 seconds, just behind Britain’s Miguel Francis (20.16) and ahead of Kyle Greaux of Trinidad and Tobago (20.51).
Toronto’s Brendon Rodney was fourth in 20.63 seconds.
