Mohawks dominate Colts, win 20-2

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Medicine Hat High School Mohawks dominated the Monsignor McCoy High School Colts on the baseball diamond Tuesday night.

The Mohawks were victorious 20-2 in the seven inning game at Jeffries Park.

The game was close until the fifth inning, when the Mohawks scored four runs to take a lead, and added 11 runs in the seventh innings.

Kobe Coderre had three hits and was credited with five RBI through the game. Kayden Hleucka finished the game with two runs, four hits, and 3 RBI, while Ashtyn Street had three runs, three hits and three RBI.

Evan Morrison led the Colts with one run and two hits during the game. Ty Olinski had one RBI for the Colts.

Morrison also took the loss on the mound for the Colts. In four innings, he allowed 10 hits, seven runs, five errors and struck out four batters.

Aidan Rissling was the winning pitcher for the Mohawks. He pitched three and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs, two hits and striking out five batters.

The Mohawks remain undefeated, winning all five games so far this season.
