TORONTO — The Toronto Wolfpack have turned French international back Hakim Miloudi’s loan deal into a permanent move.

The transatlantic rugby league team picked up the 25-year-old last week on loan from Hull FC with an eye to a lengthier stay. Miloudi made his Toronto debut on Saturday in the Wolfpack’s win 40-10 win over the Sheffield Eagles.

The five-foot-nine, 211-pound Miloudi, who was in the last year of his Hull contract, can play a variety of positions across the back line.

Toronto (8-1-0) tops the second-tier Betfred Championship rugby league standings. Its next game is April 19 at Barrow Raiders (1-7-1).
