MP Motz comments on Wilson-Raybould

Medicine Hat, AB — Medicine Hat-Cardston-Warner MP, Glen Motz has been in Ottawa this week.

Motz believes that some Canadians may be outraged about the wrong part of the removal of Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott from the Liberal caucus.

The conservative MP said that it boggles his mind that some people are more focused on how the truth came out rather then the truth itself. 

“The message that was sent yesterday is clear if you tell the truth there’s no room for you in the Liberal party of Canada which is pretty telling and I hope Canadians are receiving that message the way it was sent.” Motz said over the phone. “ I really believe that my constituents certainly have seen this and I’m sure Canadians will see the removal of Miss Philpott and Miss Wilson-Raybould from caucus for exactly what it is. It is a betrayal of justice.”

Motz also added that Wilson-Raybould has been punished by the Liberal party for doing what she is suppose to do as a MP. 

“Elected officials are suppose to protect individuals and blow the whistle on government misconduct and corruption and when they do they punish them.”
