Small fire under control in CFB Suffield training area

CFB SUFFIELD, AB — Fire crews responded to a small fire this morning in the southern region of the training region at CFB Suffield.
 
Officials say the fire is contained, although smoke may be visible.  But the fire doesn’t currently pose a risk to highways or private lands.
 
The base will post a Facebook update once the fire has been extinguished.
