MEDICINE HAT, AB — Mads Søgaard will continue to grip the reigns for the Medicine Hat Tigers.

The Danish rookie is the confirmed starter for Game 3 of their Eastern Conference Quarter-Final series against the Edmonton Oil Kings. The two teams are set to collide at 7:00 p.m. from the Canalta Centre with their best-of-seven stanza locked at a game apiece.

Søgaard has been the busiest WHL netminder of the post-season thus far, stopping 86 of 91 shots. That includes a 49-save performance in last Friday’s 2-1 victory at Rogers Place in his playoff debut.

15-year-old call-up Cole Sillinger is also confirmed to dress for the Tigers after playing Game’s 1 and 2. Drafted in the first-round, 11th overall last spring, Sillinger was held scoreless in Game’s 1 and 2, firing two shots on goal.
