High school baseball returns April 2

MEDICINE HAT, AB — A familiar sign of spring will be returning to Medicine Hat next week.

The high school baseball season is currently scheduled to get underway on April 2. The Eagle Butte High School Talons will play host to the Vauxhall Vikings at Jefferies Field that evening, while The Medicine Hat High School Mohawks will begin their season on the road in Brooks.

CHAT News spoke with head coach Lyall Foran and Ashton Street of the Mohawks about the upcoming season below.

The Monisgnor McCoy High School Vikings, who are the defending league champions, will open their season in Vauxhall on April 4.
