Medicine Hat Open Force playing for provincial gold at Hockey Hounds

MEDICINE HAT, AB – One game remains for the Medicine Hat Open Force ringette team on the 2018-19 season and it will be their biggest test of the season.

The Force will be playing for a provincial gold medal in front of their home fans on Sunday afternoon, this after knocking off the Rockyford Ringers in semi-final action earlier in the day.

Putting their 3-0 record to the test, the Force edged out the Ringers by a 3-2 final to advance to the gold medal contest.

They’ll take to the ice for provincial gold against the undefeated Lethbridge Vegas, who knocked off the Calgary Storm in a 3-0 shutout in the semis.

Sunday’s Open ‘C’ Provincial Championships gold medal game will be played at 1:45 pm at the Hockey Hounds Recreation Centre.
