City Council sends letter outlining concerns about the supervised consumption site

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Medicine Hat City Council has sent a letter to the Provincial and Federal Health Ministers regarding HIV Community Link’s application for a supervised consumption site within the city.
It outlines concerns around a lack of consultation, and lists six requests, including that federal and provincial funding be provided to the city to cover costs associsated with the site.
The letter was sent on Wednesday morning.
