Tigers snap losing streak, top Broncos 3-2 in overtime

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers returned to the win column Saturday night.

Entering the game on a seven-game losing streak, The Tigers pulled off a late comeback, topping the Swift Current Broncos 3-2 in overtime at the Canalta Centre Saturday night.

Trailing 2-1 with less than one minute remaining, defenceman Linus Nassen tied the game for the Tigers. Ryan Chyzowski scored his 22nd goal of the season at 1:07 in overtime to complete the comeback.

Ethan Regnier and Tanner Nagel had the two goals for the Broncos.

Nick McCarry scored the first goal for the Tigers.

The Tigers outshot the Broncos 50-23.

The Tigers return to action Wednesday, hosting the Calgary Hitmen at the Canalta Centre. The game begins at 7 p.m.
