REGINA — Quarterback Zach Collaros is staying with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The Roughriders announced on Tuesday that they have re-signed Collaros to a one-year contract.

Collaros will return to the Riders for a second season after originally being acquired by the team in a trade with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in Jan. 2018.

Last year, the 30-year-old completed 234-of-382 pass attempts for 2,999 yards and nine touchdowns. He had 10 wins in 14 starts.

Collaros is entering his eighth CFL season. He spent his first two years with the Toronto Argonauts, before signing with Hamilton in 2014 as a free agent.

He won a Grey Cup in 2012 as a backup quarterback with Toronto.
