MEDICINE HAT, AB – Local football fans will get the chance to spend time with one of Canada’s most famous trophies on Saturday afternoon.

The Grey Cup will be making a stop at Whiskey Creek Pub, while the public is encouraged to get a glimpse between 1:00 and 4:00 pm.

A handful of local former CFL players have had their names etched on the Grey Cup in recent years including Dan Federkeil in 2014 with the Calgary Stampeders and Nate Coehoorn with the Edmonton Eskimos in 2015.

The Stampeders won their eighth Grey Cup in franchise history on November 25, 2018, defeating the Ottawa Redblacks by a 27-16 final.
