MEDICINE HAT, AB — The six-game home-stand continues for the Medicine Hat College Rattlers basketball program this weekend, hosting the Olds College Broncos on Friday night, followed by a date with Ambrose University on Saturday.

The ladies squad, boasting a South Conference-leading 10-1 record, are riding a six-game win streak, having not lost since Nov. 9 in Olds. They’re coming off a thrilling double-overtime victory over Lethbridge College last Saturday, and can strengthen their leading the South to six points with a victory over Olds.

Rich Humphrey and the men’s team are still looking for their first win of 2019, and sit in the fourth and final playoff spot in the conference. The head coach isn’t concerned with their auspicious start to the second semester, saying he’s recruited several new players over the holiday break.

CHAT Sports caught up with Humphrey to learn more about the expectations he has for his team leading up to the playoffs, and how the slew of new recruits are fitting into the Rattlers systems.
