MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Medicine Hat College Rattlers will once again be getting loud in support of mental health.

The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference will be running the Make Some Noise For Mental Health Campaign From January 11 to February 10, in partnership with RBC and the Canadian Mental Health Association. The campaign aims to raise awareness of mental health and wellness, and reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness.

The initiative will be in full display in Medicine Hat on January 26, during the Rattlers’ volleyball and basketball games.

During this year’s campaign, each post-secondary institution will select student-athletes to create the RBC and ACAC Student Athlete Ambassador Program. RBC will provide each group with $1,000, and students will decide how the funds will be used at their school.
