MEDICINE HAT, AB — He’s a celebrity in Europe, and your everyday, normal guy in Medicine Hat.

Some might say Dawson Murschell is living two separate lives.

Those in southern Alberta recognize him more for his clothing line, Findley Bridge Outfitters.

In England, he’s seen as a highly talented player in the ever-popular sport of professional darts.

In fact, the 23-year-old is the top-ranked player in North America, coming off an impressive first year in the Professional Darts Corporation.

Murschell, who moved to England last winter after earning his pro card, recently flew back to his home town of Medicine Hat to visit family and friends over Christmas.

He caught up with CHAT Sports to discuss some of his biggest highlights from 2018, what he’s expecting for his second year as a touring professional, and how his life is vastly different living in Europe compared to his home town.
