Durex recalling specific batches of condoms

MISSISSAUGA, ON. — Durex has announced it has recalled specific batches of condoms due to shelf life concerns.

RB Health Canada, the parent company of Durex, announced the recall on Friday, noting specific batches of Durex Real Feel Extra Lubricated 10ct condoms and Durex Real Feel 20ct Condoms are affected.

The condoms being recalled have the batch numbers 1000443254 and 1000356816. The numbers can be found on the bottom of the pack and on the wrapping of individual condoms.

The company says there is no immediate safety concern for customers and only these specific batches are affected by the recall.

Anyone who has purchased those specific condoms are asked to call 1-800-320-9738 to receive instructions on returning them, or they can bring them back to the place of purchase for a full refund.
