VIDEO: Notre Dame Academy opens Christmas Store

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Students at Notre Dame Academy were able to help others celebrate Christmas Tuesday morning.

The school opened up its annual Christmas Store for students from St. Louis School to complete their Christmas shopping.

The younger students were able to purchase gifts for their immediate family members for a reduced cost. The items in the store were donated by students, staff and parents at Notre Dame Academy, as well as from others in the community.

Notre Dame students acted as shopping helpers, cashiers, and even gift-wrapped the items for the students.

All money raised at the store will be donated to the Medicine Hat and District Food Bank.

The store has been running for five years now.
