REGINA, SASK. – It’s going to cost you more to camp in Saskatchewan Provincial Parks next year.

The Saskatchewan Provincial Government recently announced fee changes for campers looking to stay in provincial parks in 2019.

According to the announcement, full service sites and electricity sites booking costs will go up $2 per day. Full service sites will now cost $42, while electricity sites will cost $32.

The announcement also increases the cost of vehicle park entry permits. A yearly pass will now cost $75, a $10 increase, while a weekly pass will cost $40, up from $35. The three-day park entry permit has been discontinued.

Single day entry still costs $10.

The park entry fee is not included in camping fees.

The province says campers can begin reserving seasonal campsites starting April 2, and group campsites can be reserved on April 4.
