EDMONTON, AB — Premier Rachel Notley will announce the actions the provincial government will take to deal with the oil price differential currently affecting the province.

The premier is expected to address all Albertans starting at 6 p.m.

In an opinion column published on Friday, Notley says the province needs to act to deal with a growing glut of oil. The op-ed blames Ottawa for failure to build pipelines to ship oil to other markets, meaning Alberta oil cannot be moved and is being sold for low prices.
