Registration for American Legion baseball to open next week

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Registration for American Legion Baseball in Medicine Hat will open next week.
The registration will take place during the Annual General Meeting of the local program, which takes place on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Kin Room at the Kinplex.
The league is looking for any players in the zone born between 2000 and 2004. The number of teams is dependent on the number, age and skill level of registered players, according to a release. In recent years, there have been two teams, tiered in “A” and “AA” play, who play in the Montana/Alberta American Legion program.
Players need to commit to the program between mid-May and mid-August. Families and interested players are invited to attend the meeting and learn about the program.
