Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – Nov 12

Happy Hatter
That our current governments has done many good things to help out citizens. How is it that our previous government did nothing in the 9 or 44 years in power except be unfaithful to spouses & the country & of course sued AB/CANADA as they move south. Careful who you vote in voters.

Mad Hatter
What is wrong with drivers in this town…. When a lane ends on any highway, cars have to merge! More often than not when this happens, people will turn on their signal light and wait till someone with a spec of courtesy will let you in. Unfortunately, people here either don’t see your signal or they have been taught to speed up when this happens. It takes about 10 seconds to allow someone to merge…. Obviously, it goes a little slower when we’re down to one lane, but come on people, 10 seconds and you usually get a friendly wave and a smile as opposed to the finger!

Mad Hatter
Back entrance to leisure centre, football field, and BMX has no signage either direction.  It is an accident waiting to happen.  Two reflective signs could make a huge difference turning off 23rd.

Mad Hatter
Mad that our mayor publicly endorsed a UCP candidate and frequently childishly attacks the current NDP government. As Mayor of our city you should not be so deeply partisan, nor should you be frequently engaging in political mudslinging using our current government to blame for every misguided and ill-informed decision the CITY has made (aka turning a provincial historic park into a dog park). Do what is best for our great city, not what is best for you and your buddies or what you think will get you in the news.

Mad Hatter
Archaeological site…. who cares. Remember when first nations groups had a couple of Atco trailers set up by the teepee as an interpretive centre? That dried up pretty quickly, didn’t it? No one showed a lick of interest then and today you can’t even find a sign out there marking this supposedly sensitive site. Now apparently dogs are tearing up the turf at an alarming rate necessitating restriction on taking them for a run in the coulee. There are more coyote dens, badger dens and gopher holes, plus city drainage doing damage on that site than anyone taking a dog for a walk in a “sensitive” area that no one has given a hoot about in years.

Happy Hatter
Happy it looks like the weather will be warming up again! I know what you are going to say, “We live in Canada. Snow and cold is normal in winter.” I know… but warm weather is such a treat and every winter I lie to myself saying “this one won’t be so bad!”
