MEDICINE HAT, AB — Just days following city council’s approval of a parking lot downtown, a website has been set up advertising the adjacent property.

The former Parker’s Countrywide Furniture location, which was sold to Ki Dae and Deokki Kim of Lethbridge earlier this year, is the subject of a new website from a local real estate agency, promoting the available space.

The leasing will be handled by local realtor Jennifer Boyle with Maxwell Realty. Boyle says her office has received a number of calls from interested parties, but no offers have been made.

The website is advertising 32,000 square feet of available space on the main floor, 19,500 square feet on the lower level and 20,000 square feet on the upper level.

The building is currently zoned for commercial use, and the site is advertising the space’s desirability as an office space.

City council approved a purchase of the nearby Chokecherry parking lot for $459,000 by the Kims during this week’s city council meeting. The sale will be finalized on December 3rd.
