Mad at how much money must be spent on attack ads on tv (here in AB and in the States). A day of paying for these stupid misleading ads could fund a food bank for a month!

Can’t believe that a garbage tabloid newspaper, masquerading as actual news told people to consider not getting vaccinated. Not getting a vaccination is like not wearing a seat belt. You spend hours driving, and thousands of kms without getting in a collision. But when you do, that seat belt prevents you from not only harming yourself but becoming a projectile and hurting others. Sure, seat belts can vary rarely cause injuries, but they save more than harm and the numbers aren’t even close. The research is clear. Vaccinations are safe. They may not always be effective and can cause allergic reactions in a small amount of people, but they save more lives than they harm. Even if they aren’t 100% effective, they still can shorten the duration of the flu and its harmful affects. Don’t be the person that thinks their own immune system is self-sufficient. Just like you wouldn’t think air bags in your car where self-sufficient. Get vaccinated. Don’t be the person that refuses to wear a seat belt because you don’t think something will ever happen to you. I’m sure a good portion of those 90 plus people that died last year from the flu didn’t think it would happen to them. (If you think you have allergies, please refer to your family doctor. Many people think they may be allergic, but a simple and safe allergy test can be beneficial.)

I hate the people who try to merge onto the highway at 60. Now is not the time to be a sook. It is SO dangerous to merge less than highway speeds and you are an absolutely idiot if you can’t realize this. It is your responsibility to merge safely. If there is traffic coming on the highway, there isn’t a guarantee they can, or even should, move over for you. Not only that, but semis need a lot longer braking distance, which means if you pull out onto the highway in front of a semi, you are putting a lot of people into danger with your speed. I mean seriously, if traffic is going 85 and you are merging at 60, how much more likely do you think you are to cause an accident than if you could match their speed like you are supposed to? If this still doesn’t make sense to you, Youtube “Semi’s getting brake-checked” and you’ll be scared straight.
