Mohawks win fifth straight Rangeland Football Conference title

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The drive for five was completed on Friday night for the Medicine Hat High Mohawks football team.

Medicine Hat won their fifth consecutive Rangeland Football Conference championship at the Methanex Bowl, defeating the visiting Brooks Buffalos by an 18-14 final score.

Defeating the Buffalos for the second consecutive week, the Mohawks have won the last five Rangeland Football Conference titles dating back to the 2014 season.

With the win, Medicine Hat was also able to keep their undefeated record alive at a perfect 9-0 entering the south zone playoff stage.

Both the Mohawks and Buffalos have qualified for next week’s zones, with Medicine Hat taking on the Catholic Central Cougars on Friday at the Methanex Bowl at 7:00 pm.
