VIDEO: Virtue & Moir highlight ‘Thank You Canada’ stop in Medicine Hat

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Figure skating royalty descended on Medicine Hat on Saturday night, as the ‘Thank You Canada’ tour made a stop at the Canalta Centre.

Some of Canada’s greatest figure skaters dazzled the crowd eager to see their Olympic heroes, highlighted by ice dancing duo Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir.

They weren’t the only fan favourites however, as two-time Olympic silver medallist Elvis Stojko received a warm applause from the Canalta Centre faithful.

Rounding out the rest of the lineup included three-time individual medallists Patrick Chan and Kaetlyn Osmond, plus pairs greats Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford, along with Canadian champions Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje.
