MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Medicine Hat Tigers could have one of their alternate captains back in the lineup by this weekend.

Bryan Lockner is currently listed as day-to-day with a lower body injury on the WHL’s injury report.

The injury stems from an awkward hit he took during last week’s road game against the Spokane Chiefs. Lockner sat out for the Tigers’ games against Tri-City and Kootenay.

According to assistant coach Joey Frazer, Lockner could be back in the lineup by Friday, when the Tigers host the Prince George Cougars, though he says it’s too early to tell at this point.

So far this season, Lockner has scored three goals and recorded one assist in seven games.
