Tiger-Cats clinch CFL playoff berth; Hamilton to host post-season game
HAMILTON — The road to the Grey Cup officially goes through Hamilton.
The Tiger-Cats clinched a playoff berth and guaranteed a post-season game at home on Monday after the Montreal Alouettes’ 12-6 loss to the Calgary Stampeders.
Hamilton has now made the playoffs in five of its past six seasons (2013 to 2018), hosting a home playoff game every year.
With four games remaining in the regular season, the Tiger-Cats (7-7-0, 14 points) trail the Ottawa Redblacks (8-6-0, 16 points) by two points and can finish no worse than second in the CFL’s East Division.
