32 Rattlers receive CCAA National Scholar Awards
MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Medicine Hat College Rattlers are being recognized for their achievements off the court last season
The team announced on Monday that 32 players from different sports received the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association’s National Scholar Awards for the 2017-18 season.
“Our goal is build outstanding students, athletes and citizens,” said Terry Ballard, manager of the college’s sport and wellness department, in a statement. “Medicine Hat College and Rattlers Athletics have always believed in the total development of our student-athletes. With 32 CCAA National Scholars on Rattlers rosters, our student-athletes have again successfully met this challenge.”
The award is handed out to student athletes who have achieved honour status at their college during the academic year. Athletes from all four sports at the college (basketball, soccer, volleyball and golf) were recognized.
